2011: From May 6th to 16th, 2011, forty college students joined the original Freedom Riders in retracing the 1961 Rides from Washington, D.C. to New Orleans, LA. Michael Rossi was an embedded filmmaker for the ride and produced, shot, and edited short pieces while on the road for AMERICAN EXPERIENCE.
